In 1998 CamScan was acquired by Obducat AB to become part of a group established to develop and supply processes for nano technology. Obducat's technologies include equipment for nano imprint lithography, electron beam lithography, etching technology and high density packaging.

This realtionship enables CamScan to continue developing their Electron Optics technology, whilst sharing specialist knowledge with their partners for the future of nano technology.
